Prom update

Dear TVHS Classes of 2020 and 2021,

We want to start by expressing our sincere apologies that the last few months of your junior and senior years have been affected by such challenging times.

As you know, the current government restrictions on large-group gatherings are preventing us from moving forward with plans at this time.  If TVSD administration is unable to schedule an in-person graduation ceremony by June 1st, we will not be able to reschedule the prom.  However, if news of the restrictions being lifted is received by June 1st and the district is able to host an in-person graduation ceremony, we plan to reschedule the prom as well.  Our intent would be to host the event at Sunnybrook Ballroom as initially planned, depending on the availability of the venue.  We have also been brainstorming alternative venue ideas so that we can move as swiftly as possible if we’re given the green light.  In the event that we are able to reschedule, details regarding the date, venue, and ticket purchases will be provided as soon as possible.

Seniors, we are so proud of all that you’ve accomplished and want you to know that we are celebrating these milestones with you.  It is our hope that we will be able to do so with an in-person graduation ceremony in June or July!  We are also hopeful to be able to host a 2020 prom, giving us the chance to dance together one last time as you say goodbye to Twin Valley in style!
