TVHS School Counselors advise students about college testing exams during their junior conference, which is normally held during the second semester of the student's 11th grade year.

The PSAT is offered to 10th and 11th grade students during the school day each October -- students may register for this exam in the guidance office.

Each student's Naviance account includes access to Method Test Prep, an online SAT, ACT, and PSAT test-prep service. SAT-prep classes may also be available as a course at TVHS or through organizations such as the Twin Valley Community Education Foundation.

AP exam

Registration for AP Exams is now open for students enrolled in a fall course. Registration for spring courses will take place in January, 2020.
Students receive information from their AP teacher and must indicate if they are taking the exam through their College Board account.

The decision deadline for fall and year-long courses is Friday, October 18.

The decision deadline for spring courses is Friday, February 14.

The cost for each exam is $94. The cost is $20 for students who qualify for free or reduced lunch. Payment will be accepted in the high school office until Friday, November 1. Checks or money orders should be made payable to Twin Valley High School.

PSAT

Twin Valley High School will be administering the PSAT to all students in grades 10 and 11 on Tuesday, January 26. The letter that was distributed to sophomores and juniors can be downloaded here. If you do not wish to have your student take the PSAT, please return the opt-out form by Tuesday, January 12. Students are encouraged to visit the PSAT Practice Test site to help prepare for this test.

In order to accommodate the PSAT test sessions, students in grades 9 and 12 will not attend school in-person on January 26. During the morning of January 26, freshmen students will complete a “Virtual Business Trip” sponsored by the Berks Business Education Coalition while senior students will be encouraged to explore career videos in Roadtrip Nation, work through the resume builder in Naviance, and investigate/complete scholarship applications.

Our school will run a modified schedule that includes blocks 3 and 4 in the afternoon. 9th and 12th graders will attend virtually and 10th and 11th graders will attend in-person. The afternoon BCTC schedule will also be modified.
