We are excited to welcome our students back for the 2026–2027 school year! Classes begin on Monday, August 24th.

On behalf of our administrative team (Dr. William Clements, Principal; Dr. Courtney Maguire, Assistant Principal; and Mr. Brett Myers, Assistant Principal), please review the details below regarding the first week's schedule, drop-off procedures, and important updates.

First Week at a Glance

  • Monday, August 24 – Orientation & First Day of School

    • Arrival: All students should report to their first-period class by 7:45 a.m. Please review schedules on Infinite Campus before arriving; room assignment lists will also be posted throughout the building.

    • Orientation: Students will follow a normal schedule, which will include time during Flex 1 for safety/logistical reviews and materials distribution.

    • Chromebooks: New students will be issued a Chromebook on Monday morning. As a reminder, all students are required to bring a fully charged Chromebook to school every day.

  • Tuesday, August 25 – Picture Day

    • Ordering information will be distributed on Monday morning and can also be accessed online at home.cady.com.

  • Wednesday, August 26 – Class Meetings

    • Meetings will be held for each grade level to review attendance policies, safety procedures, school rules, and extracurricular/athletic opportunities.

  • Thursday, August 27 – Fall Back to School Night (6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.)

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Procedures

  • Buses Only: The front driveway near the flagpole is reserved strictly for buses during arrival and dismissal.

  • Parent Pick-Up/Drop-Off: Please use the rear lobby entrance, located near the High School Gym.

BCTC & TCHS Students

Monday marks the first day of school for both the Technical College High School (TCHS) and Berks Career & Technical Center (BCTC). Please consult the CTC Transportation Page for full details.

  • TCHS Students: Sign in on the tablet in the foyer upon arrival at TVHS. Students driving themselves must have parking permits for both campuses and travel directly between schools.

  • BCTC Students: Sign out on the tablet in the foyer before departing TVHS.

Additional Reminders

  • Naval Science Students: Any student scheduled for Naval Science during Block 2 should report to the lobby after Block 1.

You'll find valuable resources for academic planning, college and career readiness, mental health support, testing, scholarships, and more.
